The Foresters Club House is the perfect meeting place to spend an evening relaxing amongst friends. It provides a friendly environment and intimate lounge bar where live entertainment is often on the menu.
With a selection of organised entertainment evenings, both for adults and children, there’s something to suit everyone’s taste. The Club House even includes a children’s room, filled with activities and fun things to do.
Adjoining the Club House is the indoor heated swimming pool, open from Easter to the end of September. From soaking leisurely in the water to splashing about, the pool is a great way to either unwind or have fun. There’s even a children’s play pool for younger swimmers.
The sun-patio, next to the main pool, is another great way to relax and offers the perfect retreat for lounging, soaking up the sun or watching the antics in the pool. Shower facilities are also available for convenience.
The pool area is watched over by the resident attendant during every open session.
Norfolk is perfect for cycling with its combination of winding country roads, quiet lanes, forests and bridle paths. Even if you haven’t ridden a bike for years, the gentle contours of the landscape are never too challenging and you’re never far away from a welcoming local pub or tea shop to recharge your batteries.
Whether you fancy a day’s leisurely bike ride with the family or something slightly more testing, the scenic countryside at Forest Park provides the perfect backdrop.
If you would like to hire cycling equipment for any length of time, the Forest Park staff will be more than happy to help you with this.
The Club House also adjoins the Park’s restaurant. From quick snacks to superb Sunday roasts there’s a variety of menu choices available. Prices are extremely reasonable and a range of vegetarian options and dishes devoted to children are also on offer.
There’s even the option to ‘takeaway’ many meals, just ask in the restaurant for more information.
From play areas to fun activities, children are well catered for at Forest Park.
A purpose-built toddler’s play pen area creates a safe environment for youngsters to have fun with their friends. And, with so many areas of open space, there are several great settings for ball games with no restrictions of noise or space.
Other areas in the Park include climbing frames, swings and slides – all of which have seating areas for parents to relax and supervise.
From enjoying a game of pool to testing your dexterity with the latest arcade games, there’s never a dull moment in the fun-packed Games Room! There’s even a selection of new and interesting toys for youngsters, guaranteed to keep them entertained for hours.
Most activities are completely free of charge, however some may require a small charge.
The Cromer Road Train is an excellent way of getting to Cromer and amusing children and grown-ups alike. Even dogs are allowed to take a ride and join in the fun! On Bank Holidays it departs Forest Park at 11am and returns at 4.30pm. From 23rd June and throughout the Summer it departs at 10.30, returning at 5.30pm. The Road Train makes various stops in and around Cromer, including the pier.
